Sofía Vergara Practices Safe Summer in New Single

Sofía Vergara is ignoring her relationship drama and using her thirst trap powers for good.

Just before news broke that Sofía Vergara and Joe Manganiello have separated after seven years of marriage, Vergara marked the end of her 51st birthday vacation to Italy with another round of Instagram bathing suit pics. But these weren’t just your typical single-woman thirst traps; these photos also encouraged her followers to drink water while she was showing off her blue leopard-print bathing suit—further endorsing One-Piece Summer. “Last days of vacay! Even when u r so hot I love u Ravello,” the Modern Family actor captioned the pics on July 17.

In all three pics, Vergara practiced safe summer. In the first and last photos, Vergara could be seen holding a large glass water bottle in one hand and a single serving in the other, taking an actual sip in the final image. This is your cue to stay hydrated, people!

But Vergara doesn’t want you to stop with water. While Toty’s Ilumina CC Cream SPF 50+ is perched on the side table in every shot, the actor reaches for even more sun protection in the second image. In the middle pic, Vergara kneels on her patio chair holding not one, but two of her suncare-centered beauty brand’s Solaria Mineral SPF 50+ antioxidant sunscreen serums. Remember, the key to protecting your skin is reapplication.

Of course, these photos are still thirst traps, which Vergara cheekily acknowledged by tagging her personal trainer, Natalia Botero, in the photo with her backside facing directly to camera. Never change.

So, what have we learned from freshly single Sofía Vergara? If you want to be hot while staying cool and unbothered, you must (1) drink plenty of water, (2) wear plenty of sunscreen, and (3) ease the breakup sting by living your best life in Italy. That last one might be difficult for the rest of us, but definitely not impossible.
